Don't get me wrong, I like all the colors. Very cool, and it's your car do what you like, that what matters. 1966 Austin Cooper S 1965 Triumph TR4A 1965 Triumph Spitfire We don't need no stinkin' BMW's

I think it looks great. It's a reflection of what the rest of the car will look like when finished. Keep up the good work. Mark

Looks like you spent the time to prep the parts good before paint. Good job there. "How can anything bigger be mini?"

Macmanron, I think there are allot of people that don't like the different colors I was hesitant at first then my dad talked me into it. It is like an infection the more I look at it the more I like it. Fishingka, Form what this rebuild has told me about the car it looks like some time in the past the mini met with an obstacle the prior owners of the car could not cope with. From what I can see the whole front of the car is newer than the back. My mini was an MKII at some point in its life. It looks like it went through an MK1 conversion when the front was replaced. Originally it had a Hydrolast suspension. The hydrolast was toast not 1 salvageable part So I put the coil overs in. My mini is now such a Hodge-podge* of parts I can't call it stock. If any thing my mini will be an MK1.5 the paint will also not be stock. I also have a scheme that is off the path of normal tho tone minis. Se7en, You nailed it. I had them so the 7' went back on. This was only to save some $ I know in the long run it is a bad idea and I will regret it. I think my mini originally had drums on all fours. It looks like the front sub was replaced when the rest of the mini front was replaced my guess is it came off of a 60'ds 998 but I'm only guessing. When I got my mini it had am 850 in it but who is to say that is even the original motor. The new motor going in is your basic 1275. (Insert snide comment here)

you are missing the lines from the chassis to the calipers. I have two new if you don't already have them.

Nice! I like the color variety just fine. Just curious, though - did the fact that "you had them" prompt you to keep the small disc setup in lieu of moving up to 7.5's? What engine is going in the subframe to power the beast? SE7EN
