Is the side glass plexiglass? Also what's the VIN? That will indicate whether a UK conversion or an Australian model.

Chuck (cheleker) is right. A number of them came that way from the factory; have the metal load floor and no provision for rear seats. Over the years, I've imported and sold a half-dozen or so from Australia that were that type. I've also seen ones that owners later cut out and installed windows, but those were typically the UK-built ones. Hope that helps. Added later: I recall at least one that had the roll-up-window, Australian doors with the wind wings (ie: called "quarterlights" over there). Still with external hinges. - Michael "MiniGuy" Lewis / www.miniguy.com / Agoura Hills, (Southern) California USA 91301 -

You can send them to my address in my profile (click on fishingka in my avatar) if you'd like and I'll post them for you. OR, you could set up a photobucket account for free and send them from there. A lot of us do that . Here's the link if your interested http://photobucket.com/. Kristina (Mongrel's owner)

The car pictured is a Clubman front. The alternative called a Round Nose, with headlights in each fender, and a grille from the edge of the hood, to the bumper.
If you post pictures of your car, in and out, we could ID it easier.

Topic is vague, but will likely keep it up top because of the wording. Didn't Aussie vans get that mod for tax reasons or some such? Don't know if was done by factory, dealer or custom. Georgia Cracker has one here in the states .. perhaps he or one of our Aussie/Kiwi posters can help. SE7EN

Is it for sure a Mini van? If it is, then it did not come from the factory with glass in the sides. Does it have a metal load floor and no rear seat? That would indicate it was a van. The estate (Mini wagon) came with glass in the sides. Typically the wagon has glass that is square on the corners where Mini van's that have been cut have round corners. Photos would help.
