epsi1on: Last year's MME was in Tennessee, this year's is happening RIGHT NOW, in Bethel, Maine. If you were already in CT, it'd virtually be in your backyard! Info here: http://www.mme2008.com/mme2008/index.htm Next year , the 50th anniversary of the Mini, there's an East Meets West event in Winona, MN. Info here: http://www.minimeet09.org/ SE7EN

Is there anything like this in the CT/NY area? And if there's not do you think there'd be enough interest that people would actually show up to it? I'm about to move up to CT and would love to get involved with something like this. Looks like tons of fun and damn, what gorgeous cars.

Hahaha... I didn't even notice that until you pointed it out! Is that an Aussie flag on top of "TOOGRVY?" I see some familiar cars there. Man what a cool event! ---------------------------------------------- My Higher Authority is the German Purity Law of 1516 .

Thanks to all of the folks at MMW08 that got up to make Cars and Coffee. We stopped counting at 70 Minis. The response by the Ford executives was fantastic. They loved it! I can't tell you what an impressive sight it was to watch all of the Mini's pull out of the lot in mass.
C&C is an extremely special event to several of us down here and to have our marque so incredibly represented, and so well received, was awesome. I am so glad that many of the Mini-Mania board folks got to experience this great showcase. Thanks again!

There was even an Ariel Atom that showed up. I got to ride in it when it was in Oklahoma last year for the first Ariel Atom gathering. Nothing like riding in one of those doing high speed track driving. |
Here is Dean's pic.

I stopped by at your booth to thank you for the jack block (it has been used alot these past few weeks) but you guys were swamped. cncpics.com caught me as I was leaving C&C yestreday.
