I will be getting to C&C at 5 AM to cone off the corral. - the rest of the folks will caravan over at 5:30 from the hotel. We are the marque - it's important we get there early so we can all park in the corral area. The Ford folks have been very kind in doing this last car marque for us since we reserved the date 7 months ago.

Holy smokes, what an amazing display of cars. Really cool. It was nice to finally meet you guys, and look forward to hanging out at MMW next week. It was very very hot on the way down, like 108 F. I ran into ignition problems on 101 about 2 hours into my drive, and didn't have any spares. Thank god a couple of British biker guys pulled over towing their bikes in an enclosed trailer gave me and my car a lift to Santa Barbara to Moss Motors for parts. However, the remedy wasn't complete, as I'm still having to deal with ignition problems. The good news is, due to the tow, I made it to Irvine on one tank of gas!!
see you guys on Thursday

The light was incredibly intense yesterday - I'm hoping we have that same light for the MMW 08 folks next week. Who's going to join us at next weeks C&C?

Thanks for the info. My fiance is into Toyota Cressidas and Nissans, so if I get the money at any point I may have to try to find her one... Maybe if I can't find a Toyopet Crown, I'll get her one of these Nissan cars rusted subframe bolts are the hardest material known to man...

I believe the black monster and the yellow car to the left of it are both Toyopet Crowns. Mark

It sure is. It is a car that is every bit as good in person as it is in pictures. I was stoked when I saw him pull in. I remember commenting on his car to someone down here when it went up for sale, that someone said that I wouldn't be disappointed if I ever saw it in person. He was right - can't wait to see it again this week.
Oh-yeah, Dr Dave was nice too.
