So you unplug the wire for either high or low and plug into 87 and then the switch to 86. I like it. Thank You in advance! Stieve Grumpy: I'm bettin' The Joker told you to kill me soon as we loaded the cash. BOZO;The Joker: No no no no, I kill the bus driver. Grumpy: Bus driver? What bus driver?

For the BG Micro web site, just use the link: www.bgmicro.com and at their home page key in "bosch" in the search field. The relay and socket will come up. For a headlight relay schematic visit: www.advanceautowire.com/ On the left side of their home page, click the link for "Headlight Relay Kit". The schematic will be displayed just below the item/kit they sell. Doug L.

The British Wiring relay bases sound perfect as do the fuse holders that clip on. However, their relay prices are a little bit high. I'm sure they're high quality, but those relay bases accept standard ISO/Bosch relays that you can also source at most parts stores. I ordered mine from BGMicro.com. Visit their web site and type in "Bosch" for the search keyword. $1.99 each. I buy surplus electronics from BGMicro a couple of times a year. Doug L.

There's a Lucas branded one (I think?) on BritishWiring.com that has the built in fuse socket also. It's sold each but can be hooked to one another to form a relay block. I was thinking of that one but I figured I didn't have enough time to get it and wire it up. dan edit: http://britishwiring.com/CAT18_19.PDF You'll need the 817 socket, 818 relay and 146 fuse holder. All link together and build Lego style from there as big as you want. Don, sorry if this offends you but it is a neat assembly for all your lighting needs. dan "I don't know much, but what I do know I know little of "

That is exactly what I have been thinking of making. Where did you get it? Never put off till tomorrow what you can avoid all together.

That's pretty cool, too bad I don't have time to order one. I'm trying to get my headlights sorted out for the evening drives at MMW. I've never driven the Mini at night so I didn't need to make the changes until now. dan "I don't know much, but what I do know I know little of "

I found this neat relay box that will handle 4 circuits. You run one ground, one 12v+ and then two wires for each circuit. Very neat and tidy. Plus there are 4 more seperate fused circuits. Actually I bought 3, 2 for the headlights (hi and low beams) and one for the driving lights (which won't be on the car for MMW) to be switched separately. Good luck on your drive down south, I'll see you there on Friday (damn work!) dan "I don't know much, but what I do know I know little of "

Hey Dan, I hope you bought two relays, you need one for each circuit. Good luck! I would help more but I'm driving to Irvine today for MMW. 1400 miles one way........... Terry If you're not on the edge............ you're taking up to much space.

Ok, I'm electronically challenged. I bought this today to add to my headlight wiring so I didn't burn anything up and of course it didn't come with any directions beyond the imprint on the case. Can anyone tell me what hooks to what number? IE: 12V from light switch, ground, 12V supply and out to lights. thx, dan "I don't know much, but what I do know I know little of "
