Dolly Sprints were a cool car in their day.....they were the first 16v 4 cylinder production car if I remember correctly. For a while, it was the hot ticket to stick a Dolly Sprint head on your TR7 to give it a bit more 'spunk'.....that is, until everyone realized that the factory had the best idea with the TR8, and they began sticking Rover V8's in them, which gave twice the power, three times the torque, and infinitely better reliability for half the money.

I'd never even seen one before this photo was posted. Very cool! Another car I'm lusting after (thanks to Top Gear) is the Triumph Dolomite Sprint. Going to have to get myself something really cool and different one of these days as a commuter. ---------------------------------------------- My Higher Authority is the German Purity Law of 1516 .

Cliff, your car is surf blue right? what blue is the one next to yours?
Cranium
Inner and outer sills, left
and right door steps, left-right-front-rear floors, and inner wings welded in place. Moving to the boot
area, then to the a-panels/front end. Should have the welding done in 3
more years!
:)
Battery Box removed, and rear valence removed. Time to clean up the
rust, and find the holes.

I love that little diorama set up with the guys working on the MG.....oh wait, they were really working on the MG....go figure. Someday I'll make it to one of these. Thanks, Cliff. Nothing is so bad that you can't make it worse by doing something rash or going berserk.

Those Audi R8s are really growing on me. Saw one at the *cough* auto show *cough* that they have each year out here. Very sexy beast. The only bit I don't like is the goofy LED arrangement below the headlights. Other than that - I'll take one please. ---------------------------------------------- My Higher Authority is the German Purity Law of 1516 .
