Problem is that there is only one auto parts store that carries LED bulbs in the area, and their selection is very limited and over priced. I just want to order everything online at super bright LED's. ***Rover Mini Spi A/C Compressor for sale! Rare & hard to find!*** http://www.minimania.com/web/id/7217/Cars4Sale_Detail.cfm

The stock 1156, and 1557 are brighter than the LED's from Kragens. So I returned them. Thank You in advance! Cheers, Stieve Go Fast or Go Home! MacDhaibhidh is Scottish Gaelic for Davidson AyePod! All yer choons on wan boax!

Fairly simple replacements, if i remember correctly. 1156 bulbs are standard, and the LED replacements you find at auto parts stores are marked as such. Reverse lights i don't know. Are brake lights twin-filament? again, I am not sure. Experts chime in.

Can anyone give me the LED bulb sizes and types needed to do the brake lights, reverse lights and turn signals on the rear, then the two turn signals on the front? ***Rover Mini Spi A/C Compressor for sale! Rare & hard to find!*** http://www.minimania.com/web/id/7217/Cars4Sale_Detail.cfm

tvanderh, replace the resistive blinker unit with a solid state one, that'll solve the super blink issue. heh, my poor Enfield's stock unit didn't know what hit it. A car that won't go is a nusence, a car that won't stop is a problem.

They worked great in my car, but they wouldn't work in the turn signals because they don't have enough resistance and the lights flashed too fast. Maybe there is something else to use, this was just my experience.

That is exactly what I want. Plug-n-play with no wiring mods. The problem is that there are no less than 1000 different LED types and its all very confusing! Brightness, color, output angle, wattage, ect...! ***Rover Mini Spi A/C Compressor for sale! Rare & hard to find!*** http://www.minimania.com/web/id/7217/Cars4Sale_Detail.cfm

I have installed LED bulbs for the brake/tail lights and they seem to work fine in My 1000. I may eventually replace the rest of the bulbs with LED, but I was just testing them to see how they would work. They are nice and bright and I haven't had any problems. Just plug-n-play. You can pick them up at AutoZone, but I cant remember the price. Not too bad though, as I recall. Constipated people don't give a crap!

Is it possible to install all-in-one LED bulbs (with built in resistors) in place of my current incandescent bulbs? Plug-n-play? Where is the best place to buy them? ***Rover Mini Spi A/C Compressor for sale! Rare & hard to find!*** http://www.minimania.com/web/id/7217/Cars4Sale_Detail.cfm

I put LED bulbs in my brake lights in my 67 S. The bulb socket sets at an angle in a mark 1 and LEDs are directional. The lights when viewed straight on from directly behind the car the was dim. When I placed the same bulbs in my wagon, which has a socket that is flat to the surface, they worked very well. www.westpaminis.com saving your other best friend

i have converted/retrofit all but the reverse lights. if designed correctly, it should not cause any adverse effects. in my opinion, avoid purchasing off the self units. for the most part, they are not designed for realiability. a well designed retrofit should consist of a led driver/power supply that is able to regulate the proper voltage for each led array. if this step is avoided, the led the lifespan may be reduced. for an idea, check out some pics of my retrofit: http://www.vtecminis.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=12 '73 VTEC Mini...click for pics

I would like to install LED lights into my turn signals, reverse lights and brake lights. Has anyone done this upgrade on their Mini? Does it cause any problems and what type of LED's did you use? ***Rover Mini Spi A/C Compressor for sale! Rare & hard to find!*** http://www.minimania.com/web/id/7217/Cars4Sale_Detail.cfm
