I believe the show you are referring to is called the "Southwest Unique Little Car Show." Unfortunately, it was April 4-6, this year in Prescott, Arizona. It typically moves around in the Western U.S. and has been held in SoCal a few times in recent years. I went to one some years ago in Laughlin, Nevada, where rooms were $19 per night at the host casino! Here's a link to "Minutia," the online magazine of the Microcar & Minicar Club: http://minutia-microcarsminicars.blogspot.com/2008/02/28th-southwest-unique-little-car-show.html I believe the show policy is that the displacement must be under 1,000cc, but they seem to allow classic Minis of all displacements to participate. A lot of cool, tiny and obscure cars there. Here's a link to a great site for Microcars, the Bruce Weiner Microcar Museum. Lots of interesting cars that you might not see anywhere else. Check out the section for "barn finds." http://www.microcarmuseum.com/ Enjoy... NOTE: SHAMELESS PLUG FOLLOWS: If you have - or know of - any classic Minis that might be for sale, please let us know. Any state, any area. We have more buyers waiting than we have nice Minis to offer. Also looking for projects of all types and stages.
