The SPI is not an OBD system, it is MEMS, you can find Sykes-Pickavant ACR(4) readers on ebay UK for around $400. average price, new ones are expensive, or try to borrow/rent one, I sold mine a while ago, http://tinyurl.com/2k3lqn
I talked to one of the mechanics at the auto hobby shop here about hooking my SPI up to a diagnostics machine. He said that they don't have an adapter for the OBD (??) plug. Is there any type of universal plug out there that may work, or does anyone know where I might find the adapter? The reason I want to have it looked at in the first place is because of a very rough idle when I first start the car. It lasts about 3 seconds before smoothing out.
