Easily Add Power with Tunit Tuning
Tunit provides an efficient and adaptable method of enhancing a vehicles performance (power and torque) without the need to alter the vehicles original equipment or programming. The advantages of the Tunit are; adjustment for optimum efficiency (both manually, by the customer and electronically, via a PC by a distributor), flexibility, as in movement from one vehicle to the next and ease of installation. KRA has it (turn signal relay separate near column), my car was a RHD so if a LHD van I don't know if they moved it over to the other side or left it on the firewall near where the MC's would now be.

On a '72 or later English car I think you're more likely to find the flasher for the hazards where Swift says it will be and the flasher for the turn signals someplace up by the steering column, inside the car.
I would have to agree with the second flasher. Mine was doing the oposite, flashers but no signals. Both flashers should be side by side on the fire wall.
Light travels faster than sound. That's why some people appear bright till you hear them speak.
There is also a flasher relay for the hazards, (separate from the turn signal relay - on the firewall by the wiper motor) - When I got my van it was completely missing (no wonder the hazards wouldn't work...)
