A very kind person from this board made me a repro one a few years ago. I still appreciate the act of kindness every time I turn the heater on.

I sure did. I've been waiting and waiting for one at the right price. Well story of my life. I just got the email as well. I was thinking of how to reproduce them. Oh well life goes on. On the bright side last month someone paid 40.00 on eBay.uk. JonM/51nhealey

I searched for Morris parts suppliers with no luck. Also looking for the hart to find heater knob. Would have been happy to pay the 23 dollars even thought its worth about two bucks.

What does the Morris place in the UK get for them? Do they have a web site?

And it closed at $23 + $2 S&H. That's a lot of money for such a small part! Doug L.

It's the knob that goes on the end of the lever for the Mk1 fresh air heater. It's the one you move to select whether air from the blower is directed to "Car - Screen - Off" Doug L.

What is that? I think I've got 3 heater knobs (or choke), all hooked to cables in my boxes somewhere, and none look like that.
Can the seller have a crappier picture?
Cranium
Inner and outer sills, left
and right door steps, left-right-front-rear floors, and inner wings welded in place. Moving to the boot
area, then to the a-panels/front end. Should have the welding done in 3
more years!
:)
Battery Box removed, and rear valence removed. Time to clean up the
rust, and find the holes.

Not mine and I know nothing about it. I'm only posting this eBay link because last month there were threads with people looking for this part. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MINI-MK1-HEATER-LEVER-KNOB-MORRIS-AUSTIN-COOPER_W0QQitemZ140227989808QQcmdZViewItem If the link doesn't work, it's eBay item 140227989808.
