Easily Add Power with Tunit Tuning
Tunit provides an efficient and adaptable method of enhancing a vehicles performance (power and torque) without the need to alter the vehicles original equipment or programming. The advantages of the Tunit are; adjustment for optimum efficiency (both manually, by the customer and electronically, via a PC by a distributor), flexibility, as in movement from one vehicle to the next and ease of installation. I am in Knoxville, TN right now, but travel extensively.  Will be in PA sometime in the next 2 weeks.  My latest project will take me thru Lancaster, Conshohocken, Philadelphia, Erie, St Marys, and Scranton.

New to the Mini world. Just got a 1980(model year) that needs the ENTIRE bottom of the car replaced. Is this correct for our car. Or any body out there have an extra repairable body shell out ther laying around. ?????John

I'm sure someone on the east coast could use this.

Save $240 shipping from the west coast and I will sell it cheaper than our host has it listed. ALOT CHEAPER thanks Scott

Yes cheaper and simple but non deserving to a genuine mkI shell, I wish I was not taken with the foolish advise I was given. Oh well live and learn and pay as you go but I know someone can use is it.

Why not use what you have by splitting it down to L & R floors and keep your remote center tunnel in place? Gotta be easier/cheaper than selling the floor at a loss, shipping it and then buying L&R full sections and shipping them???

Make it idiot proof, and someone will make a better idiot....

There is sufficient evidence to indicate that the rate of increase in output per unit increase of input decreases as the input increases.

I could use it, but shipping to CA would make it cost more than would buying new...

I purchased the left and right entire floors with the inner and outer sills attached for my 1071. Buying the floor panels this way I was able to keep the center tunnel in place.

Be sure to weld cross supports in the door openings to keep the body from twisting before you remove the floor.  With a plasma cutter the rotten floor and sill were out in no time at all.  I attached a light section of angle bar to left and right edge of the tunnel and used this as an edge to run the plasma cutter along to get a straight cut.

Not sure who would tell you it was the "preferred" way to restore a Mk I shell. It's not correct for a Mk II or early Mk III, either. Can be made to work, but not the same as "restored." Unfortunately, you received bad advice. That is clearly a floor for a rod change car.
