Suzy, The village idiot, Pete, has taken charge of the mini-Mini line. We'll be brain storming at MME how this should come together. Granted, with Pete, it probably won't be brain storming, it'll be more like a light ooze of thought. Guido Performance Artist Classic Minis United www.classicminis.org www.GodSaveTheClown.com

Mike, can we include classic Tamiya r/c Minis in the mini-Mini line? I can pack mine in a suitcase when we fly over! I'm really looking forward to this event. We loved MME in the area last year, and spent a few days afterwards doing touristy stuff in the mountains. Clubman & 1275GT - its hip to be square!

Hey there Al. Still love the classic. Never like the moke. Had an 850 I really liked, but was never my choice to have or not have. I love my new MINI too. I go to a show I want to take it and drive it. Maybe someday there will be a classic again, but not now. Buying a house comes 1st. I have a fun car. Riding in someone elses car.... it's just not the same. Good to see you out here. Heard through a close friend what happend. Feel better. see you around. COSMOWOG has researched it and the record for the longest line of any type of die-cast is wide open. Our challenge then is to assemble such a line of Minis that no one can top us.

WOW! I got back in town to find my mailbox full of people coming, donations/co-sponors and the question eveybody asked, "How do I register?" Registration will be announced probably by the end of July. Our rush to announce the camground was so we can fill it with Mini people. Now we're going to secure a hotel, everybody will be emailed when that happens. Please note, if you reserved a spot at the campground, email me with your site number.   ete, you're now in charge of the longest line of Mini Hot Wheels, Matchbox, Corgi, etc. How much room do you need. We truly appreciate your enthusiasum and dedication to make this a great gathering! Contact me when you have your basic plans figured out. That's going to be a first! As far as "no classic mini. no attend." You don't have to have a Mini to celebrate the Mini; we're going to MME this year without one and plan to have a great time. There's always a Mini to hop in.
I will try to respond to all of the emails today. Thanks! Once again, if any member didn't get the email, let me know. Guido Performance Artist Classic Minis United www.classicminis.org www.GodSaveTheClown.com

The Ohio Chapter of "Girls Gone Wild" are planning on attending. They are waiting to hear from the Florida and Illinois Chapters. It could become their annual gathering to crown the "Wildest of the Wild".

Got our site reserved. Number 123 on the river. I am worried about housing everybody if we are going for the world record longest line of Minis. Being the underachiever that I am, how about the world record for longest line of Mini Hot Wheels, Matchbox, Corgi, etc. All Minis! Lets think small, we are Mini fans after all. And it took the Village Idiot to think of this.

The emails have been sent. If you got one please don't post the info here. If you didn't get one and you're a member, then you didn't update your email address. Let me know.... Guido Performance Artist Classic Minis United www.classicminis.org www.GodSaveTheClown.com

Regarding hotels: Our first goal was to fill the campground before non Mini campers start to reserve the campground. All of our time so far has been put into that and preliminary planning. The next step is to secure a co-host hotel. In the email I'm sending out, it states to email me and get on an email list for when the co-host hotel is finalized. It's seems obvious that due to size and for those that just don't want to camp (but can still hang out all night with us), a hotel is the next step. For those who don't or won't camp are there any recommended hotels nearby? Can you provide that info on your email as well? Thanks-looking forward to this event! Eric SCUM #2. "Life is too short to own just one classic Mini!"

We're shooting for the emails to go out around 3:30. My email provider only allows me to email half the members in a 24 hour period, so, I'll sync with Rhonnie (the wife) and she'll send the other half the same time I send. As of now there are 15 cabins, 13 tent sites (can have 2 tents per site), and a large number of RV sites (still worth reserving so you can get a good spot).
