I've tried watching it from several of the PCs at work, but the BE firewall blocks it... Shame, we have hundreds of PCs and each one could have been set to watch as a guest !
For the pair who don't get it - if you were browsing at a trade stand, and the vendor shouted "someone has to buy something in the next minute or I'm packing up", do you think that would a) increase the chance of a sale, b) make everyone leave, or c) entice more people milling around to take a look ?

Somewhat relate: When I want to watch something but for whatever reason don't want to tip off the seller that I'm (maybe anyone?) is watching, I save the item number under my favorite searches, and then just pull it up whenever I want by triggering the search. I can keep an eye on it while being incognito, in a way. Steve Life is driving Minis. Everything else is just waiting.

I wondered the same, but I was more suprised by the alacrity that others joined the bandwagon, sheepishly I might add. No offense meant, to each his/her own. ------------------ QuickSilversVille

I can sympathize somewhat with the seller... again, only somewhat: I've had things up on ebay with 40 or more watchers but never got one bid (including recently an MG 1100 with no reserve and a cheap $1900 starting bid --less than the paint job and new interior it has with it-- and I answered 10 or more questions, and didn't get one bid-- but I did get a post auction "I'll take it off your hands for $500" within 30 seconds of auction close). That said, I have 70 to 80 items on my watch list at any one time, more than half of which I never intend to bid on but am curious as to the going rate for those items. --Spank

done!
Cranium
Inner and outer sills, left
and right door steps, left-right-front-rear floors, and inner wings welded in place. Moving to the boot
area, then to the a-panels/front end. Should have the welding done in 3
more years!
:)
Battery Box removed, and rear valence removed. Time to clean up the
rust, and find the holes.

I know, I know, its a bit childish winding the seller up. *giggles* But don't you just smile at silly statements like that? If you look at it, you should be prepared to buy it right now. Scarey Ebayer!
