36MM, 3/8 Drive socket for removing oil filter cartridge. Fits Cooper and S.
Filter change tips: Use this 36mm socket with a ratchet to remove the canister. It helps to "loosen" the cannister a bit when you drain the oil to help drain the filter (for less mess). Make sure you replace the O'ring with a new one, supplied with the filter - apply a coat of fresh oil on the O' ring when you install it and tighten the filter housing to 18ft.lbs.
Remember to use full synthetic motor oil. Mini
