An essential item for any tuned MINI ,When the engine power is increased extra heat is created this heat must be catered for to have any long term reliability,every 1000 rpm increase requires three times the cooling and the standard cooler just isnt rated high enough to cope with the bigger power MINIs,worse still the extra heat from the standard cooler is transfered to the water system which is also struggling to cope with the extra power. An air cooled oil cooler is the answer giving better cooling and increased oil capacity an absolute must for track day cars
