Front Big Brake Kit Description

Radial mounting provides secure and accurate installation of the forged billet DynaPro four piston caliper with large diameter rotors for this group of front and all wheel drive sport compacts. These kits are the perfect compliment to wheel, tire, and suspension upgrades on daily drivers, competition vehicles, and custom styled show machines. This kit is engineered specific for the MINI to maintain full compatibility with the OE master cylinder output and factory ABS functions.

Rear Big Brake Kit Description

Combination hydro-mechanical Parking Brake calipers use hydraulic pressure from the master cylinder for stopping power, and an internal mechanical lock within the caliper for a parking brake. Combination Parking Brake kits are built primarily for front wheel drive vehicles, and select rear wheel drive axles that are not well suited for internal shoe style parking brakes. The calipers are coupled with oversized two-piece rotor assemblies with aluminum hats and high friction BP-10 compound pads. This kit provide the correct balanced brake performance and matching style to compliment the front big brake upgrade kits.

Kit includes calipers, pads, brackets, rotors and stainless steel brake lines for front and rear brakes, and rear parking cable kit.

Most stock OEM wheels will need spacers to fit (use template below to confirm fitment before ordering - clearance will vary depending on the wheel).

Front Kit Includes:

Forged Billet DynaPro 4 Piston Calipers - Stress flow forging re-aligns the metal's grain structure eliminating the stresses and interruptions to the internal grain structure. FEA generated radial transition design substantially increases resistance to deflection and caliper separation.

7816 "Q" compound Polymatrix Pads - Operates at the lowest noise and dust level of any performance pad. Polymatrix offers high resistance to fade, long wear, and low rotor abrasion.

GT Series Rotor Mounting Hats - Lightweight and strong, these hats are specially designed for use on OE hubs without modifications or interference to the suspension or ABS components. Black anodized finish prevents corrosion and enhances appearance.

SRP Series 12.19" Vented Iron Rotors - Adds stopping power and cooling capacity over smaller diameter OE rotors. Premium grade, long grain carbon iron provides long wear with high thermal stability and resistance to distortion. Venting and cleaning action of the holes and slots reduce pad glaze, dissipate surface heat, and minimize irregular pad build-up on rotor faces. This results in smoother engagement with improved consistency and response at the pedal. Treated with silver zinc wash, these rotors resist corrosion.

Caliper Brackets and Hardware - Aluminum mount brackets with steel threaded bolt inserts are lightweight and stong. Each bracket is CNC machined for precise fit. Grade 8 or higher and AN style nuts, bolts studs, washers, and alignment shims are included in all applicable kits.

Smart Pad BP-10 Pads - Offers medium friction compound with the low noise and low dust of a street performance compound and the increased friction characteristics of a semi-metallic race compound. Smooth engagement with consistent response from a flat torque curve throughout its entire effective temperature range with good low to middle temperature wear rates. Beds quickly and provides fast response without excessive abrasion on vented iron rotors.

ATE® Super Blue has a dry boiling point of 536F and a wet boiling point of 396F which far exceeds standard brake fluids meeting the DOT 4 requirements. This fluid is NOT SILICONE and is compatible with conventional brake fluid. 100% synthetic fluid is specifically designed to resist the high temperatures of racing brakes and yet very suitable for daily driving.
