Tunit provides an efficient and adaptable method of enhancing a vehicles performance (power and torque) without the need to alter the vehicles original equipment or programming. The Stage One kit for the MINI Cooper S blends the racing performance experience of Mini Mania with the demands of the enthusiastic MINI street driver. The Hi-Flow Performance exhaust system provides a gain in horsepower combined with the right amount of aggressive tones consistent with the performance image of the MINI Cooper S. The free flowing re-usable air filter allows the engine to develop more horsepower while providing superior protection against dirt and debris, extending the engine life. Power gains expected should approach 15HP. Our kit includes the Borla Cat Back Exhaust system and a Hi-Flow intake filter. You will not believe the difference this kit will make! This kit can easily be installed by any serious DIY'er or by a local service shop in just a few hours. Racing expertise for more fun in everyday driving. The Mini Mania Stage 1 Kit for the MINI Cooper S includes components whose development is derived directly from expertise gained from motor racing. This version of the new Mini Mania kits thus carries on a tradition which dates back 32 years of racing success of the Classic and BMW MINI. The resulting package fires the MINI Cooper S to new performance peaks and even greater driving fun! Choose Borla Street G2NMK1011 or Borla Sport Exhaust G2NMK1012. Get the street version if you just want a slightly deeper tone over stock with a mild cruising sound. The 'sport' version offers a more aggressive tone with slightly more volume for those wanting a more 'sporting' sound. Both exhaust systems are 2 1/4" stainless steel system with twin 4" chrome tips. The Borla system installs 'downstream' from the secondary catalytic converter. This requires cutting of the stock system just behind the cat, where the Borla system is attached. The rest bolts right-in.
